Penn Hills Charter School of Entrepreneurship is a school in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The school's focus is on creating world ready leaders and entrepreneurs.


My role at the school includes teaching, creating content, data analysis, and Equity Coordinating just to name a few. The greatest takeaway from my time is having an intense and comprehensive understanding of the learning process. As the Equity Coordinator I gained experience needs assessment, gap goal creating, adult learning and staff development.

Below are my job responsilbilities.

  • Analyze and determine needs assessments and prerequisite skill inventories.

  • Produce instructional materials, create scope and sequences, and develop and design learning experiences and trainings.

  • Evaluate learning gains and deficits through routine reporting that measures various assessments and data points.

  • Maintain complete accountability for meeting all goal achievements, both short- and long-term.

  • Incorporate a variety of instructional and training methodologies to facilitate learning, as well as learning tools, concepts, best practices, and techniques.

  • Outline individual improvement plans to drive student success.

  • Utilize new technological tools to integrate online learning.

  • Liaise with parents, colleagues, and the administration via phone, email, print, social media, and a weekly newsletter.

  • Facilitate and lead one-on-one conferences with guardians.

  • Refer students and their families to various community resources being offered.

  • Recruit, coach, and train students at MicroSociety ventures, overseeing all operations of the MicroSociety student job site.
